DESIGN SKILLS. BRIEF 3. ILLUSTRATOR. DEVELOPMENT

So I chose three letters from the first Alphabet Soup project/ Condense theme. I worked with them on illustrator, traced them down. And decided t choose:

The typeface I produced  condense letter forms was this: 

So the first thing I had to do trace the typeface, because I have no idea what kind of typeface it is. 

And that's what I did

Here it is, the lines of the typeface I will be producing my new typeface for the illustrator brief.

After I decided to chose the typeface I chose. I realised that it's going to take me a while to create it. I was right. Because it took me few days to design the whole alphabet. I still need to choose and develop the colour I'm going to se. Though I think I'm going with CYAN. Because Blue represents frozen water and generally water. My word for the alphabet was CONDENSE. So it suits really well. 

I did some colour variations, but I don't think I'm going to use any of these. It takes the eye of the lines of the letters and focuses on the background.  That's why a white background should be the best. I still need to try some with the white and than print it out.
