DESIGN PRINCIPLES. Colour theory.

 1. All of us brought five things in Yellow, Orange, Red, Violet, Blue and Green. We had to arrange them by tones: the yellow goes out to orange, the orange shifts from yellow to red, the red from orange to purple... and so on.  It was quite fun and really nice to view the classroom filled in in different colours that were arranged. Pictures.

 2. Lizzy, Rebecca, Sophie and I got the yellow colour and we had to decide the yellowest one, the pure colour( 7404 c) , that's in the middle. Than going from the middle to the upper side of the picture we arranged three colours by Light (Tint) (603c,600c,7499c), then going from the middle to the right arranged by darkness (Shade) (116c,123c,1235c) and finally from middle to the left by Greener (Hue) (101c,102c, yellow c).

We had a really long lecture, that was quite interesting, though we didn't have lunch because we finished only at 1o'clock, but that's alright , in the name of knowledge - starve;D So we learned about Primary, Secondary and Tertiary colours and the colour wheel.

Opposite and complimentary colours:

Additive and subtractive colours:

CMYK colour mode: (Cyan, magenta, yellow and black (Key)) This colour mode is used for printing.

RGB (Red, Green, Blue): Used for screen desplay.

So all in all...wait...there's still ONE IMPORTANT thing I forgot.

WHY IS THE SKY BLUE? ;ooooo

Ahhhhh...that's why;]

So now I know more things about colours than I knew before coming in to uni today. Cool.  Ah, and I really enjoy colours (just something I found while looking trough the colour topic)----->
