DESIGN PRACTICE. GROUP 4. MY OWN DESIGNS.

So I walked around college and took pictures of possible spaces to put our 'communisheet'. Me and Mike went to the Student Union guy that works there and asked for permission to put the sheets up in the smoking area. We even send them an e-mail, though we didn't heard back yet. Also we realised that the college is quite limited to putting stuff up. We couldn't arrange a place in the Mosaic cafe. It would have been nice to have one where there are many people. While walking trough college I though that it would be a good idea to put a sheet in every course area and maybe even make it as an idea sharing sheet.

I set up the twitter account, created an e-mail and sent everybody the details of the account so everyone on the group could access it. And we hanged the sheet yesterday so David already updated some pictures.

I looked at other possible colours and actually thought that orange looks more eye catchy. We also had a problem with the name. So David made a gap. but I thought that if we just make the sheet go over the triangle that would separate it but still keep it as one word. And I thought if we made the 'fold' on the other side of the sheet that would attract more attention, because people are used to the fold in the right side. For some reason it's just one of those 'things'  the right is right. And if we did the capital letters in the name it would be more visible and more legible. But this is only my opinion.

David also did images that are kind of the instructions. A pen (to write on the sheet) a photo camera (to take a picture) and a # (to tweet). I thought that maybe if we combined Mikes and Davids ideas that might be clearer what and why should you write on  the sheet. If we wrote a small instruction but used images only on  few words, that would be easily understandable and maybe more interesting. And again it's just my opinion.
